A low-key Taiwanese restaurant located in a spacious plaza. I was attracted by the dan-dan noodle and my friend ordered beef noodle soup. Dan-dan noodles - I really liked the consistency of these slightly thick and chewy noodles. They were perfect and I usually don't care for us on or a lot of noodles in a dish. The minced meat was fine and the peanut flavor hit the savory spot. I did bite down on a chunk of peanut butter or so in there, not sure if that's normal. Veggies in the dish were nice to have, napa and broccoli etc I appreciated it. They take Venmo and other forms of payment here and the register guy was very attentive. The small to go portion I brought home, I ended up devouring later. Very casual dining on a Sunday afternoon.

My family loves this place. We usually order for pick up but the restaurant has a lot of seating and wide open space. Service is pretty quick but minimal; they take your order, bring your food, and refill water if needed - but they aren't hovering over you, which I like. The food is excellent. I've tried many dishes and have liked everything.

I've eaten at this restaurant for a handful of years and their food is always consistent. This review is specifically for my last visit 2/16/25. I ordered the tomato egg noodles. All the food we ordered arrived and looked and tasted delicious! I asked my friends if they could see any tomato in my dish. I asked the waiter if the tomato was missing. He got the order and apologized. He said he had mistakenly wrote down the incorrect dish. The waiter then asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted the tomato egg noodle like I had ordered. IMO, the situation started to feel a bit uncomfortable. He asked me if I wanted to keep the original dish. I said no please, I want the tomato egg noodle. When my tomato egg noodle arrived I was very disappointed. The pieces of egg were smaller than my pinky nail and same for the tomato pieces. I basically paid $11 for a bowl of noodles. This was a drastic difference from the 1st dish that came to the table. I felt like I angered the people in the restaurant. As a customer, shouldn't I have the option to choose what I want to eat? The original dish that came out was delicious, but we didn't touch it much, because I suspected it was the incorrect dish. This was the first time I've had an experience like this. Their food is always delicious!

Super tasty Chinese food. I haven't explored any of the Asian food in north county San Diego because Convoy has my heart, but this was super good. Huge portions, great price. Fresh and homemade xiao long bao. Will come back whenever I'm in the area if I'm craving good Chinese food.

An excellent place for XLB, dumplings, and other delicious Chinese dishes without the crazy wait times like Ding Tai Fung. Every XLB and dumpling were filled with savory hot broth that was so satisfying. We came for a late lunch on Mother's Day. There were several other small groups dining, but we got seated for 5 immediately. Service was excellent. Food came out quickly, piping hot and delicious. I never order orange chicken but my son ordered it and I was pleasantly surprised by how crispy and tasty it was. Only thing thing they can improve on is perhaps do more dusting as the black fringe curtains hanging from the ceiling near our table was coated in dust. It's a mom and pop shop so I didn't take off a star for this. Everything else is a solid 5.

Never disappoints! There were times in the past when we went and service was slow. We can tell they were short staffed. But I would say for the most part it's worth the wait! Looks like they started to renovate this place. Nice touches they have added! Changed out the seats, wall decorations....looking really nice! We always order the Xiao Long Bao and one or two of the dumplings. We also ordered their shrimp fried rice. So yummy! I wish it was closer to my work, because I want it for lunch and want to share this place with my co-workers! It is fun to watch them hard at work rolling out the dough and making the dumplings in the window. YOU NEED TO TRY this place if you haven't already. Completely worth the drive from where ever you are....except on your limited time lunch break like mine.
